“We know that patients have many choices when it comes to healthcare. All three of our hospitals achieving an ‘A’ Hospital Safety Grade reflects our sincere and complete dedication to patient safety,” said Douglas C. Waite, MD, senior vice president and chief medical officer, Covenant Health. “Our hospital teams, including leadership, clinicians, staff and volunteers work hard to maintain a culture that ensures we meet, and even exceed, national patient safety standards.”

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade stands as the only hospital ratings program focused solely on preventable medical errors, infections and injuries. This program is peer-reviewed, fully transparent and free to the public. Grades are updated twice annually, in the spring and fall.
